This was a lot of fun to make and one of my favorite. It's a giant pile of hotdogs ready for mass consumption or the coney island hotdog competion.

Elspeth and I went to see Kathy Griffin on Tuesday and I can't stop thinking about how good her show was. She had hysterical new material on Oprah, the Osmonds, and Britney Spears. Elspeth's AMAZING celebrity perfumerie blog has a Kathy Griffin drawing and recipe for her scent.

Winter

This is a running snowman as in "Winter's Running Out"

I can't tell if it's hot or cold this winter, though. This morning was a steambath followed by freezing wind. It's like a sauna with a cold plunge after. All that's missing is my bathing cap.

Sunday

This is a picture of a BRAIN - I think the next time I make a brain it will be in spaghetti colors.

Lots of illustration related stuff - I am going to the New York Gift Fair next Saturday for a seminar hosted by the RISD Alumni association. It's where stores buy things wholesale to sell. You have to be in the trade to attend, with strict credentials, so I'm thrilled RISD is hosting this seminar for the first time.

I have also entered the CMYK Illustration contest and applied for the Spring RISD Alumni Fair. Next up is the Communication Arts Illustration contest, which is their yearly annual.

Tonight I'm finishing a painting of a snowman running, which I'll post once it's done. I'm out of room on my hard drive again, so I'm going to have to delete lots of music and images before I can put more on.

Dead Man Walking

Here are some recent illustration works. Presently, I'm working on a picture of a snowman...running....with a snowflake background.

I just submitted my application for the Spring RISD Alumni Craft Fair. I'll know in a couple of weeks if it's been accepted. I'm going to make more t-shirts (think hot air balloons) and wooden wall hangings (think rollercoaster).
